First Australian Cherries Arrive In China

The first Australian cherries arrived in Guangzhou market on 5 November and quickly sold out. The cherries, Royal Tioga Variety, achived very different price levels depending on size with 24-26mm wholesaling for RMB 370-400/5kg whereas 28-30mm cherries attained RMB 1000.
The first Chilean cherries arrived a week earlier in Guangzhou and Shanghai with the Australian season delayed a little by cool weather.
